You Can't Get There From Here

The sign in last month's magazine leading the way to Potato World is in Florenceville-Bristol, N.B., which makes sense considering the Maritimes town is dubbed the “French Fry Capital of the World.” As well as being home to Potato World, Florenceville is also the birthplace of Harrison and Wallace McCain. The two brothers launched McCain Foods in 1956 and opened their first French-fry plant one year later. Today the company makes one-third of all the French fries produced in the world and is the largest frozen appetizer company in the world.

Grain elevators aren't as frequent a sight on the prairies as they once were and when you slow down on the highway in this rural town, it's easy to see that this particular elevator has seen better days.

Send your guess as to where this month's photo was taken, and we'll enter your name in the draw for one of 10 highwaySTAR hats. We'll accept entries up to the end of the month. Please make sure to give us all the information we'll need to get the hat to you in the mail.

Questions & Answers

Question
I found road rage to be effecting my driving and also my mood. What if anything can I do to cool down and think instead of becoming more involved in an emotional problem?
thunjak@xxx.com

Answer
Distance. Get away from it by stopping or turning the other way. Backing down from a confrontation is the best way to ensure it doesn't get any worse. Go for a coffee. have a short nap. Do anything but don't get involved. I know it's more easily said then done, but really, it's the only way. Distance.
