highwaySTAR of the Year Nomination Form Please tell us what makes your nominee more than a little bit special and truly deserving of this award. We're looking for someone who is more involved in the industry and community than is utterly necessary, and is dedicated to professionalism with a clear commitment to safety and efficiency operation. We'd like to recognize the whole person for all they do in life, not just the person behind the wheel, so tell us the whole story: their unique approach to work, their problem solving skills and business skills; examples of extraordinary customer service; also, tell us about unique hobbies or extra-curricular interests including community involvement, volunteer work, etc. We can only judge your nominee by what you tell us. You're welcome send us any additional documentation (photos, awards, letters, press clippings, etc.) to support your nomination. You may fax this form to (416) 614-8861, e-mail to rolf@highwaystar.ca, or mail any additional information to: highwayStar of the Year Our "highwaySTAR" will be honored during Truck World 2010 at Toronto's International Centre on Saturday April 17, 2010. highwaySTAR of the Year Selection Criteria In keeping with highwaySTAR magazine's mandate, we are looking for a well-rounded, community-minded company driver or owner-operator who is active outside the trucking industry and takes the image of the industry personally.
